Well done to Kellie EASTLAKE from ‘Fuel’ in Attleborough, Nuneaton who has just been granted her Premises Licence on the completely refurbished Jolly’s with the help of The Licensing Guys.
Seamless and excellent service from Helen MULHOLLAND at the Council Licensing Dept made this job a complete pleasure.
We are delighted to have secured a Premises Licence for Richard Barter at Lime Kiln Farm in Tewksbury enabling him to sell alcohol alongside his famous burgers. We visited the farm after being instructed and discussed the requirements with Richard the applicant, we looked at the timings he required and how this would suit his business model.
The application allows him to sell alcohol alongside his famous burgers during his event nights, he also wanted the ability to stock and showcase local products to visiting customers and allow them to buys these to take home.
While we were onsite as part of our service we measured up the premises and outside areas where alcohol was to be consumed and produced a scale plan ready for submission with the application.
We would also like to thank Colin at the Licensing Team in Tewksbury who assisted with the application process and engaged with us and the applicant during the consultation period so that the neighbours views could be taken into consideration and changes made.

The Licensing Guys were asked by a fellow licensing consultant in Liverpool to assist with a highly contested hearing for a new application for a convenience store which had 28 representations including those from local community group leaders.
The hearing was conducted via a video link where our licensing expert Mr Nick Semper offered a raft of exemplary conditions and demonstrated how the client would operate safely and responsibly in the area.
Despite lots of questions and rightly so from the licensing panel, all concerns that had been raised were answered and the committee ended the meeting to deliberate and make their decision.
The Licence was GRANTED as applied for later in the day.
Mr Nick Semper from The Licensing Guys said "We are delighted for the client who successfully operates another store in the city of Liverpool, we are also happy to be helping another licensing consultant with this hearing"
Following a Review Hearing brought by West Mercia Police of the Premises Licence of Oval Wines & Spirits in Hereford, whereby a three month suspension was sought, the Licensing Committee have decided to take No Further Action against the shop.
The Licensing Guys were instructed by the business owner to visit site and retrain all of his team members in Responsible Alcohol Retailing and do a thorough audit of compliance, Paul Neades from TLG visited the site and renewed all record keeping.
After a meeting on site with the Police they were happy that everything was in order and the premises were fully compliant.
